through accumulation of acts of attentiveness, of care.
perceiving is what, is the muscle that needs flexing, calibrating, tuning.
How do we begin perceiving change, when we live in a static, stagnant life indoors where the inanimate objects we’ve collected, accumulated get in our way. Indoors not outside, where we witness
changing light
evolving sound
evocative smells
catalyzing temperatures
prescient humidity
dynamic movement
changing directions
inside is still, sterile unless it is filled with artificial light, bombastic sound, a static environment no room to move around.
But both inside and out, you can still build a practice of noticing and noting by going further inside, or out if you’re outing. Connecting to the self just needs a moment of opening, focus, accumulating experience is acknowledging change through present experiment.

Twenty-three I see backward and beyond
Twenty-four is a tree
Twenty-five a celebration, a radiant star
Twenty-six is vacation because you’re not far from the anticipation that is
